ABOUT THE BVYSA BOARD
The Brandon Valley Youth Softball Association's board of directors is a group of volunteers who very generously donate their time and talents, year-round, to ensure that there is a fastpitch softball league every summer for our area softball athletes.
We are currently looking for board members to add to our team! If you would like to join the BVYSA team, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org informing us of your interest, your fastpitch softball background, and any past volunteer experience. We will review your email and discuss it at the next board meeting.
If you have suggestions/concerns/ or new ideas that you would like to share with the BVYSA board, they hold monthly meetings that are open to the public. Please send an email to email@example.com to inform them of your interest in attending a meeting.
Wanted to provide some updates for all of you to avoid mass emails and phone calls that we have been receiving.
Registration for the 2023 Summer Season is closed and we are working on rosters and schedules.

USA Softball requires coaches and every person who intends to work directly with our players complete a background check and SafeSport training PRIOR to league practices or games. This applies to coaches 10U and up, if you have questions please reach out.
ACE certification has a "Safe Sport" component that you have to complete so please allow a few hours to complete this training. BVYSA does not cover the cost of the ACE certification.
Please use the link below to set up your USA account which will allow you to complete your ACE certification and/or complete the mandatory background check. Have your credit/debit handy as you will need to pay online to complete the process. After you have completed the ACE certification or background check, you must print off the receipt/confirmation page and bring it to the coaches meeting in April or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will not be allowed to have contact with your team/players until this documentation is received.
